What size cake do I need?
Let me know how many people you would like to share your cake. A standard three layer 8" cake can be cut to serve about 24 people. I will give you a cutting guide with your cake.
Do you deliver?
I would always deliver a wedding cake to ensure safe delivery and set up at the venue. Delivery is charged at a rate per mile and to cover the time needed.
I have an allergy. Can you make a cake for me?
I prepare my cakes in an environment where there are nuts and other allergens and cannot guarantee an allergen-free product. Please make me fully aware of any dietary requirements when you enquire.
Can you make other flavours?
I am happy to talk about other flavours if you prefer something different to what I currently offer. You can have different flavours for each tier in a tiered cake.
Do you have a good food hygiene rating?
Yes, I have a 5* hygiene rating, dated June 2024. I also have a Level 2 Food Safety in Catering Certificate and have completed Food Allergen and Intolerance Training with the Food Standards Agency.
How much are your cakes?
All cakes are different and so prices will be calculated according to the design of your cake, how much time needs to be spent on making it and the care and effort that goes into every design. Let me know your budget when you enquire about a cake. As a guide, a two-tier cake starts from £395 and a three-tier cake starts from £435, plus the cost of any decorations (2025-26 prices).
How long do cakes stay fresh for?
Most cakes will stay fresh for at least 3 days after delivery. I will give you a cake care guide with your cake.
What if I need to cancel or change my order?
I will send my Terms & Conditions to you when you make an enquiry. Once you have paid a booking fee, the terms and conditions regarding cancellations or changes will apply.
Can I pay by card or bank transfer?
I will send you an invoice by email with a Stripe link so you can pay by card very easily. There will be a deposit to pay upon ordering and the balance will be due at least four weeks prior to the wedding date.
Can I get samples of cake?
If you wish to buy samples to make a decision about wedding cake flavours, these can be posted to you at a cost of £25.00 for four flavours. If you subsequently book a wedding cake, this cost will be taken off the final invoice. Cake samples are posted out to couples on approximately the 5th of the month.
